Delete your data

You can ask us to permanently delete your ReferBridge account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This applies however you signed up — including if you created your account using Facebook or Google sign-in.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@referbridge.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my ReferBridge data.” If you signed up with Facebook or Google, send it from the email address on that account so we can verify the request.

We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. We will email you when it is done.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also remove ReferBridge’s access to your Facebook account at any time from Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Removing the app stops any further sharing between Facebook and ReferBridge, but it does not by itself delete the account you created on ReferBridge — email us as described above to have that data deleted.

What gets deleted

• Your login and profile (name, brokerage, market, photo, licence details)
• The name and email address received from Facebook or Google at sign-in
• Your contact details, notification preferences and any phone number
• Messages, connections, saved agents and referral requests you created
• Your reviews and ratings

What we may keep

Some records are retained where the law requires it or where they document a transaction between two parties — principally executed referral agreements and related payment records, which are business records belonging to both agents and their brokers. Where we keep such a record, we retain only what is needed for that purpose. We also keep aggregate, de-identified statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
